Americo Chaquisse
I am a Lead of Software Platform Engineering and Software Architect based in Maputo, Mozambique, with a strong background in leading teams and designing robust, scalable software solutions. My expertise lies in software development, systems architecture, and agile project management.
Currently, at Vodacom Mozambique, I lead the Software Platform Delivery team, where we focus on providing DevSecOps tools, managing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing software platform solutions on both AWS and on-premises infrastructure. I also act as a Product Owner and Engineering Lead, working to unify the engineering experience and reduce time-to-market.
Before my current role, I worked as a Software Engineer and Architect at BCI (bank), where I led the development of a web-based retail banking platform and other key internal applications. I am a lifelong learner, currently pursuing my Master’s in Software Engineering, and I hold several industry certifications, including AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, and SAFe® 6 PO/PM. I thrive on new challenges and am committed to fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

Ivar Grimstad
Ivar Grimstad is the Jakarta EE Developer Advocate at Eclipse Foundation. He is a Norwegian Java Champion and JUG Leader based in Sweden. Besides advocating for the Jakarta EE technologies, Ivar contributes to the Jakarta EE specifications and is the PMC Lead for Eclipse Enterprise for Java (EE4J). He is also one of the specification leads for Jakarta MVC and represents Eclipse Foundation on the JCP Executive Committee.

Buhake Sindi is a seasoned Enterprise Java Software Engineer and Architect based in Johannesburg, South Africa, with close to 2 decades of comprehensive experience in enterprise Java and cloud-native solutions. In recent years, he has successfully expanded into DevOps roles, building comprehensive CI/CD pipelines and integrating modern development practices with enterprise solutions for complex organizations.
